Seven months on, Gurugram development body yet to world set up new residents' council
GURUGRAM: More than seven months after the tenure of Residents’ Advisory Council (RAC) came to an end, GMDA is yet to constitute a new panel. The first such body was set up by the authority in December 2019. An RAC has a tenure of two years.GMDA had started receiving applications for memberships to the council from September 2021. However, the process has been stuck for the last two months as the authority is awaiting approval by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who is also the chairman of GMDA.
